With another year behind us and a year of new opportunities just around the corner, it’s important to us to take time to reflect on the joys and challenges that 2021 brought us. We thought that nothing could beat the unpredictability and chaos of 2020 but 2021 certainly didn’t pull any punches! Entrepreneurship is an incredible journey that is constantly teaching us so much about ourselves, our resiliency, our perseverance, and our determination to pursue our mission to inspire, educate, and empower women!
Starting new things and chasing your dreams can be so scary and full of mountains and valleys. We’ve had our fair share of both this year but we know that God is working through all of these times. After all, how can we ask other women to feel confident and empowered to blaze their own trail through rough and rocky roads if we haven’t walked any of those ourselves? We know that every hurdle we’ve faced and every peak we’ve reached is all shaping us so that we can pour into other women who have and will walk the same paths as us when they follow their passions to new and exciting places! It’s a roller coaster of a journey but we really wouldn’t change a single thing.
We’ve learned over this past year that our main motivation and drive comes from our community. We truly love what we do so, so much and we love our community the most – those we’ve met in person, those we have gotten to know online, and those who we have never spoken to but who follow along and feel connected to what we do. We want women to embrace themselves and follow their passions, wherever they take them! When we see our community on social media leading the way in our industry or just celebrating a bloom in their yard, we get all the feels. When we’re at installations and we see the smiles and laughter of even the shiest of the group, our hearts are so full. Seeing women across generations connecting over their passion for hard work, dirty hands, and beautiful plants – both in person and online – is really what wakes us up every day and inspires us to keep moving forward. So while our mission is to inspire, educate, and empower you, know that you are really the one doing that for us and everything we do is really just an effort to give back to you everything that you’ve given us!
